Surely toggling IPC on/off wouldn't have made a difference ? I could find no concrete way to 'make it crash' on demand with a workable STR, it would just out of the blue - silently crash. I've been playing lots of Youtube vids, news vids from CNN & MSNBC since turning 'ipc' back on, and strangely enough where before I was seeing the flash-plugin crashing 'silently' or on shut-down has gone away, I've not seen the plugin crash now in almost 2 days. I suspect the high cpu and zombie compartments with 'ipc' = off is a totally different bug. > More testing tomorrow afternoon when I get off work. > looking in about:crashes and in the Activity Monitor in Win7. > happening, only 'silent' Flash plugin crashes in background only noted by > but it must be doing something as the CPU usage and crashes were not > memory use with the new Flash plugin I was thinking it was not being used, > manager in Win7 圆4 the Plugin-container shows little to no activity or > MSNBC consumes a lot of CPU with IPC 'off'. > I purposely for the time being opted out of HTML5 to test this Flash issue. > of Ghost/Zombie compartments in about:compartments on Youtube using Flash.
